Demo Patrol is a licensed concrete demolition contractor serving Northern California. Driveways, foundations, retaining walls, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and flatwork — broken out with hydraulic equipment, hauled by our own trucks, and recycled at our private concrete recycling yard. No subcontractors. One crew handles everything.
What We Remove
From a cracked residential driveway to a reinforced commercial foundation — if it is concrete and it needs to go, we have the hydraulic equipment to break it and the trucks to haul it.
Full driveway removal or partial sections. Standard 4-inch residential driveways to thicker commercial aprons. We saw-cut clean edges when removing sections adjacent to concrete that stays.
Residential and commercial foundation demolition — stem walls, footings, and slabs. Foundation removal is common after house demolition or as prep for new construction on an existing lot.
Concrete block, poured concrete, and stone retaining wall demolition. We evaluate soil and drainage before removal to prevent grading issues. Replacement grading included in our scope.
Public right-of-way sidewalk replacement, private walkway removal, and curb demolition. We handle permit requirements for work in city or county right-of-way when applicable.
Backyard patio removal and pool deck demolition. Pool deck concrete often goes into the pool cavity during pool demolition — reducing fill dirt costs. Standalone patio removal includes grading.
Warehouse floors, garage slabs, barn pads, sport courts, and general flatwork. Thickness and reinforcement determine the equipment and labor required. We assess on site before quoting.
Concrete Recycling
Unlike most demolition contractors who pay third-party disposal fees, Demo Patrol operates a private concrete recycling yard. Concrete debris from your project is transported to our yard, crushed, and recycled into aggregate for road base, fill material, and drainage applications.
This is a real operational advantage. Our disposal costs are lower, which means your project costs are lower. We are not paying per-ton tipping fees at a transfer station — we are processing the material ourselves and putting it back to use.
Our private recycling yard eliminates third-party tipping fees that other contractors pass on to you. The savings are reflected directly in your estimate.
Concrete is 100% recyclable. Crushing and reusing it as aggregate keeps material out of landfills and reduces demand for virgin quarry material.
Crushed concrete from our yard is available as road base, fill material, and drainage rock. If you need aggregate for your next project, we may be able to supply it.
Every load of concrete leaving your site is documented with dump receipts. Full transparency on where your material goes and how it is processed.
Our Process
One crew handles everything — from the first saw cut to the final grade. Here is exactly how we remove concrete.
We inspect the concrete — thickness, reinforcement type (rebar, wire mesh, or unreinforced), total area, and site access for our equipment. You receive a written, itemized estimate.
811 called for underground utility locating before any breakout begins. Gas, water, electrical, and sewer lines are identified and marked to prevent accidental damage during demolition.
Clean saw cuts at the boundary of the removal area. This creates a straight, finished edge where new concrete meets existing — critical for partial removals, driveway sections, and sidewalk work.
Excavators with hydraulic breakers break apart the concrete. Skid steers handle loading. Mini equipment used for tight-access areas. Rebar and wire mesh are separated from concrete during breakout.
Concrete loaded onto our 10-wheeler trucks and transported to our private recycling yard. Metal and rebar separated and sent to scrap. Every load tracked with dump receipts.
Rough grading and compaction after removal. The site is left clean and level — ready for new concrete, asphalt, landscaping, or whatever your next phase requires.
Transparent Pricing
Concrete demolition pricing is not one-size-fits-all. A 4-inch unreinforced patio is a fundamentally different job than a 12-inch rebar-reinforced commercial foundation. We price based on what the concrete actually is — not a per-square-foot guess.
Every estimate includes an onsite assessment where we measure the area, evaluate thickness and reinforcement, and assess equipment access. The quote you receive is itemized — breakout labor, hauling, disposal, and grading — so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Standard residential is 4 inches. Driveways and commercial can run 6-12+ inches. Thicker concrete requires more hydraulic breaker time and produces more debris volume.
Unreinforced concrete breaks clean. Wire mesh adds moderate complexity. Rebar-reinforced concrete requires cutting and separating — significantly more labor intensive.
Volume drives hauling costs. More concrete means more truck loads. Our private recycling yard keeps disposal costs lower than competitors paying third-party tipping fees.
Can we get an excavator to the concrete? Or are we working through a side gate with mini equipment? Access directly affects the equipment we bring and the time the job takes.
$1,000 or 10% deposit, whichever is less. Balance due on completion.
